The following email message was sent to a select group of people who are registered on Dice.com. The subject of the message leaves no doubt that AET Solutions is only interested in hiring foreign students who want to get H-1B visas. AET doesn't want to make mistakes either - they specify that resumes will not be processed unless they state the applicant's visa status. I assume that if AET receives resumes with the keyword "citizen" or "permanent resident" they will be rejected automatically by moving them to the junk email file.

The person that forwarded me the email below had the profile that AET was looking for. His resume contained the following statement, which probably led AET Solutions to mistake him for a foreigner: "have authority to work in the U.S."

NOTE: In the subject they specify "F1/OPT", which stands for "Optional Practical Training". OPT gives students on F-1 visas a temporary authorization to work in the U.S.
