Joe Guzzardi is one of the few media contacts that thinks H-1B is a bad
idea. He is a columnist for the Lodi News-Sentinel. Guzzardi is now asking
for help and I'm hoping some of you out there will provide it. Here is his
request:
If anyone who reads this [newsletter about Bombay U]
has specific suggestions about how to debunk the
"India Institute of Technology" I would like to hear
from you. I will be doing a column immediately following
the piece [60 minutes] and welcome suggestions/ideas.
Joe Guzzardi is a signatory to Abolish H-1B at
http://www.zazona.com/h1bpetition/P/signatories.html
He may be the only journalist to ever sign it.
Many of his articles are archived at:

Make no mistake about it - the 50th anniversary of Bombay U and the 60
Minutes story are carefully choreographed events to launch the campaign to
raise the yearly quota on H-1B visas. The lobbyists, aided by Bill Gates,
want to show that American techies are poorly educated and they don't have
the will to work as hard as the new breed of geniuses from India. They will
use this to justify why more H-1Bs must be imported. The rationale will be
that Americans cannot compete against the excellence of Bombay U.
Silicon Valley is being used for this "celebration" to symbolically rub our
noses in the dog doo. The only question is whether American techies will
accept this humiliation or fight it.
