FTAA Goof

I have received several responses about my latest newsletter that equated
FTAA with TPA. I made the mistake of thinking that FTA and TPA was the same
as FTAA. An astute reader that knows his acronmyns corrects me below:

Your latest newsletter ("more outsourcing news") makes an incorrect
statement
when it says "people are protesting the job destruction caused by NAFTA and
FTAA (now called TPA)".

TPA (Trade Promotion Authority, formerly named "Fast Track Trade Negotiating
Authority") is NOT the same thing as FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas).
What TPA does do is it will no doubt ensure FTAA (i.e. super-NAFTA extended
throughout the Western Hemisphere) will be jammed down our throats since the
Bush administration can do all the negotiating (mostly in secret without
Congressional oversight) and then present the final package to Congress (in
the past with insufficient time for the members to actually read it) for a
purely up or down vote, NO amendments or mods alllowed, with EXTREME
pressure
applied by corporate lobbying groups and globalist orgs. Here's just a few
